Vitamin K has been shown to help maintain bone density. In addition, vitamin K2 is a powerful vitamin in its ability to block the development of arterial thickening and hardening. Vitamin D and vitamin K work synergistically to raise and activate enzymes that promote a healthy heart and strong bones. For example, vitamin D and vitamin K provide cardiovascular protection by elevating and activating Matrix GLA Protein (MGP), an inhibitor of circulatory calcification, respectively. Thus, both vitamin D3 and K2 are necessary for a healthy heart and strong bones.
As a dietary supplement, take one (1) veggie capsule with 8-12 fl oz of water. It is best taken with a meal.
